What are people saying about the LGB?

As a church we should never neglect to praise Jesus for allowing the cottages at the Baptist Children's Home to come to Ten Mile. The children, the teenagers, and the stories you hear are heartfelt and gifts God has given us to learn from, grow with, and minister to. In the past I have often asked why He sent them to us. How did we, as a church, get so lucky? That is when He patiently reminds me that He wants to use us to build relationships with them. He wants to use us to pray for them. He wants to use us to spend time with them. Most importantly, He wants to use us to Love them! WOW! That is exciting! What a job we have to do.

Dear Elm Street Baptist Church, My husband, David and I would like to thank you for taking time out to come and be a blessing to us as the staff and our kids this past weekend. Everyone was abundantly blessed! I enjoyed observing how you got the kids involved in work and how you lovingly shared your skills with them. Thanks for being well organized so everything went enjoyably smooth and lots of fun for everyone. Thanks for sharing the vision and how the money was raised to supply the need and then to see it all completed! Wow! It will be a blessing for 100's of kids to come! Thanks for sharing your love and faith and because of that our youngest girl got saved! We praise God for that alone is worth it all! Thanks for your obedience! May God abundantly bless you because you gave to LGB!

March 27th was the best day of my life. It was a perfect day for growing and get closer to God. Everybody was getting up and telling their testimony letting me know that I shouldn't be ashamed of myself and that I need to be me. And that felt good.

Thank you so much for coming out of your way to come see us. We all loved what you did for us. We all really liked it

Thanks for coming Saturday. I had lots of fun, and it was a very powerful night. It's amazing what God can do. I hope you all come back sometime soon.

Over this weekend, I really saw God move. We accomplished a lot at night, I felt God during peoples testimonies and stories.

It was really awesome. I met new really cool people. Also, I liked the testimonies.

LGB has been a great time for me to get to know new people and make new friends and share info. They are nice people to be around. I really liked them. They were a great influence on me.

After hearing all that it made me think a little bit. I wrote down some things on a peace of paper on some things I want to leave behind when I leave here. After hearing all that it made me think about me and that I really need to leave those things behind. And I'm going to be I want to have a good future.

I had a great time. I had fun building the fire pit. I really enjolyed meeting with you guys. I loved the evening service. I was scared to give my testimony, but I was glad to give it for you.

It was a really great experience and I enjoyed it very much. The fire pit was a really great idea. Also, when we nailed our sins to the cross, that really touched me. I felt at peace with myself after we did that. Thank you very much for letting me have that experience. It was wonderful.

I'm glad we built the fire pit. I was glad we finished the bond fire and whad fun that night. I was glad that everyone gave there testimonie and shared everything with us. That was so cool when we were giving our testimonie then when we were done with everyones testimonie it stoped burning. That was the coolist thing to see.

You worked us good and the meeting we had that night was incredable. I would never had though of that at all. Thank you so much.

My experience of the LGB was great. All the testimonies were great too. I've learned to work together.

I thought it was fun. I met a lot of new people and we know what God does for us.
